Angela C. Boyer

Angela C. Boyer joined Sweeney & Neary LLP as an Associate Attorney in September 2023 where she focuses her practice on all aspects of family law.

She is a May 2023 graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law; and received her Bachelor of Science in Economics, as well as Minors in Law and Justice and Naval Science from North Carolina State University.

While in law school, Ms. Boyer worked to ensure a well-rounded and beneficial experience. She interned with the Honorable Kelly D. Eckel of the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County; she was a certified legal intern for the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender; and she interned with the family law firm of Momjian Anderer in Philadelphia. Ms. Boyer also received valuable support and mentorship from Professor Itay Ravid. Ms. Boyer was an Articles Editor for the Villanova Law Review; she was a founding member of the Student Mental Health Society; and she was President of the Pro Bono Society.

Ms. Boyer was the recipient of numerous accolades and awards while at Villanova.  She received the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Eric D. Turner Award, recognizing her as the graduating student who best exemplified the positive attributes of a family lawyer. She was a recipient of the Anne Bowen Poulin Award for Pro Bono Service, which is given annually by the Villanova Law Alumni Association to the graduating law student who contributed the most meaningful pro bono service to those in need. Ms. Boyer also received the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service, which acknowledges graduates who volunteered at the inception of their careers to take on the added responsibility of pro bono service.

Realizing her affinity for Family Law while in law school, Ms. Boyer became a law student member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and she published a case note article on the U.S. Supreme Court case of Golan v. Saada, addressing international child custody matters, for the Section’s Family Lawyer quarterly magazine.

Ms. Boyer is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Delaware County Bar Association.
